Report Format – B Cell Subsets Program
As part of the RCPAQAP myQAP development, we are moving to new reports for all our programs. The B Cell Subset Program is the first of our Immunology reports to migrate to the new myQAP format, which is a standard structure, similar to other disciplines programs offered by the RCPAQAP. Below is a guide to help you interpret the report in its new structure. You can also find additional information on the report format and other myQAP enhancements by visiting the myQAP help page (https://myqaphelp.rcpaqap.com.au/).
The structure of the new report is as follows:
Summary of Performance
- Method System used by your laboratory: Displays the method supplied by the participant at result entry in the myQAP portal
- Performance Assessment: The Performance assessment displays the markers tested by the participating laboratory, the target result (Mean), the participant result, the number of users, and the z-score obtained.
- Overall Performance: Provides participants with an indication of the samples that require review if at any time the z-score is 2.0 or greater.
Result Review
The result review displays the scatter of the results obtained from all the markers, highlighting the participant’s result in light blue. The dark blue dots in the scatter represent all results submitted by participants using the same method. The accompanying table provides the statistical analysis for all markers.
Cumulative Assessment
The cumulative assessment provides a snapshot of the year’s performance, highlighting the z-score provided in each survey for all markers. Z-scores between 2.0 and 3.0 are listed for review. Z-scores greater than 3 provide participants with an indicator to action the non-conforming result.
