“Why are there two portals?”
We are currently running two result entry portals in parallel while the company transitions all programs to the new portal. This is due to the fact that they are running on separate platforms with different password management systems.
“My password isn’t working!”
If you find yourself in this situation, it is likely that your passwords are out of sync, and the best thing to do would be to reset your password for both portals, beginning with the new myQAP, as we have more stringent security measures with our new portal.
Start by going to www.myqap.rcpaqap.com.au and select the “Forgot your password?” link.
After doing so, you will be asked to enter your email address. Select the “Send link” button and follow the prompts within the email that you receive.
Setting your password is the next step which must pass certain acceptance criteria.
You may now click the “Continue” button which will take you straight to the new myQAP portal.
Navigate to the classic portal by using either the button in the expanded menu (shown below), going directly to https://rcpaqap.secure.force.com/login or using the link in the myQAP button on the corporate website (www.rcpaqap.com.au).
The process is essentially the same as the aforementioned steps. Click the “Forgotten password?” button.
Enter your email address and click “Continue”.
An email will be sent to your inbox with a link to the portal and a temporary password. Enter your email address as normal, copy and paste the temporary password into the relevant field and click the “Log in to myQAP” button.
Now this is the most important part. Make sure to enter your “new” password into the fields exactly as you had for the new myQAP portal, and then click save.
You will then land on the home page of the classic myQAP portal and have now synced both your passwords.
If passwords are saved on multiple terminals, you will need to ensure that you have updated these to your newly reset passwords.
